Within the project result one, partners were focused on identifying the CSR skills and missing tools needed for successful management of social and environmental impacts and contribution of the tourism business to the UN Sustainable development goals.
First phase of the project resulted in the comptence framework for the CSR tourism expert which defines what are the skills needed by a tourism professional to be able to successfully implement the CSR principles in everyday work.
The key objective is to implement an iterative process that seeks to understand the user, challenge assumptions, and define problems in a manner that identifies alternative strategies and solutions, improving the awareness in the project target groups to shape these solutions in an innovative and responsible way is the key to driving this success. This will allow them to define and design a competence framework to update the skills and competencies of the identified target groups in CSR principles.
