The project SHOUT – social sciences and humanities in the interdisciplinary step for better education and sustainable innovation – has as the primary objective to strengthen the innovation capacity and the transformative role of universities, small and medium-sized enterprises and NGOs in the field of tackling complex problems presented in the UN Sustainable Development Goals and in the field of the development of innovative sustainable solutions through cross-sectoral cooperation, with a better exchange of knowledge between different stakeholders, social sciences and humanities graduates, and better employability of researchers.
Thirteen partners from Lithuania, Slovenia, Italy, the United Kingdom, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece and Portugal are participating in the implementation, and the duration of the project is three years.

Project goals
1. Develop educational programs
for teachers in social sciences and humanities about UN sustainable development goals with the aim to facilitate entrepreneurship, research approach and way of thinking.
2. Develop research approach
based on learning process
3. Create self-sustainable HUB
that connects universities, non-governmental organizations and SMEs with the goal of exchanging knowledge, traineeships, cooperation with the aim of developing sustainable solutions at the EU level.
4. Increase visibility
of social sciences and humanities research in area of sustainable transformations and innovations.
5. Strengthen the cooperation
between different sectors and bridge the gap between research and practice.
SHOUT HUB platform

SHOUT HUB platform connects all market participants, teachers, students, experts in social sciences and humanities, and business sector representatives. The main features of the HUB are to offer end-users full and meaningful experience.
- Hub connects talents from social sciences and humanities with leaders of sustainable innovation projects related to the UN SDGs.
- Removes the gap in communication between experts in social sciences and humanities and the business sector through continuous education.
- It allows cooperation between all stakeholder groups (higher education institutions, students, teachers, experts, non-governmental organizations and SMEs).
