Project GT4SME - Growth and Transformation for SMEs

Small and medium-sized enterprises are the backbone of the global economy and key to sustainable growth and transformation.

In this project, we want to support SME educators and increase their capacities in 4 main topics: The impact of integration of positive values in business strategies, internationalization, digital transformation and sustainable finance to help SMEs grow and transform sustainably.

Project topics

1. Impact of integration of positive values in business

How sustainability and integration of sustainability influence SMEs. What opportunities does non-financial reporting, EU Taxonomy and similar challenges present for SMEs.

2. Internationalization

Internationalization, digitalization and sustainability are key to business growth. We believe that digitalization and sustainability are positively correlated, and when company is internationalized they become competitive advantage.

3. Digital transformation

In new age of technological revolution, digital transformation is new way of doing business. Use of digital technologies such as Cloud, Big Data, Mobile computing, Social computing and analytics result in considerate improvements in operational efficiency.

4. Sustainable finance

Green finance market will help to achieve greater transparency and SMEs’ awareness about financing opportunities coming from financial instruments that will reward those companies that consciously work on reducing their carbon footprint and promoting green economy.

Through joint efforts, learned lessons and gained skills, project partners will develop a digital manual to support educators and small and medium-sized enterprises in growth and digital transformation.

The handbook will provide useful information for educators and SMEs on four project topics, as well as some best practice examples on which project partners worked during this project.
