Sander Tideman is a leading expert in the field of sustainable strategy development and an eminent speaker and business consultant. He cooperates with entrepreneurs, business leaders and organizations who want to introduce positive changes into current developments in the sustainability domain.

He started his career as a lawyer, after which he worked in the financial sector, spending some time in Asia. He is co-founder of SEAL institute, a multidisciplinary platform aimed at developing Sustainable Enterprises through Action Learning. His vast business experience includes providing consulting services to many of world's largest companies, such as Nike, Google, Unicredit Bank, Unilever and Rolls Royce, as well as collaborating with INGOs, governments and multilateral agencies such as The World Bank and UNDP. He has led the Compassion or Competition Dialogues with the Dalai Lama which highlighted the importance of spirituality in leadership. In 2007, he co-founded Global Leaders Academy in Holland and the UK, an organization offering training courses for leaders across different sectors. He is currently also working as researcher at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

Being well versed in the fields of psychology, mind training, organizational dynamics and leadership, his mission is to assist leaders and organizations to effectively take on new sustainability challenges through collaboration with stakeholders, as well as to help transform business into a driving force for sustainable development.
